What Are The Main Components Of An Electronic Truck Scale?

Core Functional Components
Load-bearing structure (weighing body): This is the main steel structure that supports the vehicle and goods. It typically uses a U-shaped steel welded structure, offering high strength and good torsional resistance. It is available in both pit-based and pitless installation forms, directly transferring the vehicle's weight to the sensors below.

Load sensor: This is the core signal conversion component of the equipment. The mainstream type is a resistance strain gauge structure, converting gravity into a proportional electrical signal. Digital products also include automatic temperature and non-linearity compensation functions, and the protection rating generally reaches IP67 or higher.

Weighing display instrument: This instrument has a built-in microprocessor responsible for amplifying, A/D converting, and processing the signals output from the sensors, ultimately displaying the weight data intuitively. Some models also support parameter settings and data storage functions.

Supporting Auxiliary Components
These components are essential for ensuring the stable operation of the equipment:

Jackbox:Used to aggregate the output signals from multiple sensors, adjusting the consistency of the sensor outputs to ensure weighing accuracy.

Connectors and limiting devices: used to fix the sensor and limit the horizontal displacement of the scale body to prevent the scale body from shifting when a vehicle is put on the scale, thus ensuring weighing stability.
