Our History
Shanghai Eagle Weighing Apparatus Co., Ltd. was established on February 1, 2002. It is a limited liability company formed through the restructuring of the former Shanghai General Weighing Apparatus Factory. With a registered capital of 5 million RMB, the company is headquartered at Building 2, No. 775 Chihua Road, Fengxian District, Shanghai. The company specializes in the manufacture of various weighing equipment, including electronic truck scales, electronic floor scales, floor scales ranging from 1 to 150 tons, and electronic bench scales. The company's origins can be traced back to 1917, when the Lingnan Weighing Apparatus Factory was founded by Liang Shanlin; in its early days, the factory primarily produced "Yingping Brand" mechanical bench scales.
In 1954, the enterprise expanded its production scale and was renamed the Shanghai Weighing Apparatus Factory; in the 1970s, its trademark was simplified to "Eagle Brand." In 2002, the enterprise transitioned from a state-owned entity into its current corporate structure. In 1995, the company obtained both ISO 9002 quality system certification and OIML international certification. Its product portfolio encompasses unmanned weighing management systems, explosion-proof electronic scales, and other equipment, all of which hold national metrological certification qualifications.

Primarily designed for the precise weighing of bulk goods, vehicles, and heavy materials-including the full-vehicle weighing of trucks, semi-trailers, and container trucks-this system is suitable for a wide range of applications. These include the measurement of incoming and outgoing cargo at logistics parks, freight terminals, and port facilities; weight monitoring for overload detection at inspection stations and on highways; the weighing of sand, gravel, cement, and earthworks at construction sites; the weighing of raw materials and finished products at chemical plants and building material factories; the measurement of waste at waste treatment and incineration plants; and weighing operations at grain purchasing stations and storage depots.
