How to Operate an Electronic Scale

The steps for operating an electronic scale are as follows:

Preparation:

Place the electronic scale on a flat, stable surface, avoiding vibration or tilting that could affect measurement accuracy.

Ensure the scale's battery is fully charged or the power connection is normal.

Powering On and Calibration:

Press the power button to turn on the scale and wait for it to complete its self-test (usually a few seconds).

If this is the first time using the scale or if it has not been used for a long time, calibration is recommended. Calibration is usually performed by placing a standard weight on the weighing pan and following the instructions in the manual (e.g., pressing the "CAL" key).

Weighing Operation:

Gently place the object to be weighed in the center of the weighing pan, avoiding sudden placement or collision.

Wait for the value to stabilize (usually the display will show a "stable" indicator or the value will stop fluctuating).

Record or read the displayed weight.

Powering Off and Maintenance:

After use, turn off the scale promptly to save power.

Clean the weighing pan and sensor regularly to prevent dust or dirt from affecting accuracy.

Avoid overloading (exceeding the maximum weighing range), as this may damage the sensor.
