Cleaning Method for Electronic Scales

Basic Cleaning Steps

Power Off Before Cleaning: Unplug the power adapter and remove the batteries to ensure the device is completely powered off and prevent short circuits during cleaning.

Remove Dust and Debris: Gently sweep away dust and loose materials from the weighing pan and crevices with a soft brush. For stubborn clumps, gently scrape them off with a plastic scraper; do not use hard metal objects.

Wiping Surface Stains: Dampen a lint-free soft cloth with clean water or a diluted neutral detergent solution, wring it until it is completely dry, and gently wipe the weighing pan and body in a circular motion. For stubborn oil stains, apply a small amount of cleaning solution to the affected area, then immediately blot away any remaining water with a dry soft cloth.

Drying Finishing Touches: After all cleaning is complete, thoroughly dry the entire machine with a dry cloth, ensuring there is no residual moisture in crevices and joints. Let it air dry for a short while before using.

Cleaning Guidelines for Special Areas

Touchscreen Area: Do not spray cleaning agents directly. Do not use corrosive liquids such as alcohol or acetone. Gently wipe in one direction with a slightly damp cloth, and finally wipe away any moisture with a microfiber dry cloth to avoid damaging the screen coating.

Gap and Hidden Corners: Use a soft brush and air to clean dust from the edges of the weighing pan and the gaps in the sensor cover. Wiring ports and battery compartments must be wiped dry only; water must be strictly prohibited.
