600kg Electronic Platform Scale

This model is near the upper range of our platform scale series. The next capacity level usually moves into the floor scale category, but this model keeps a more compact platform design. This makes it suitable for locations where installation space is limited.

The 600kg Electronic Platform Scale is widely used in slaughterhouses and meat processing plants. A whole pig carcass typically weighs around 80kg to 100kg, allowing operators to weigh multiple carcasses at the same time. This helps improve processing efficiency. The scale features a stainless steel platform, which is ideal for meat processing environments where frequent washing is required. Stainless steel provides excellent resistance to water and corrosion.

There is an important maintenance point for platform scales: do not apply oil to the internal components. This includes sensors, support points, and other load-bearing parts.

Some users believe that oil can prevent rust, but oil can actually attract dust. When dust mixes with oil, it may form an abrasive material that increases wear on mechanical parts. Keeping the scale clean and dry is a better maintenance method.

We use 304 stainless steel for key components such as knife edges and rings. These parts provide good corrosion resistance and require minimal maintenance. Simply remove any residue from the surface after use.
