How to Properly Use and Maintain an Electronic Floor Scale

Proper Usage Guidelines

Basic Operating Requirements: Before weighing, confirm the instrument is zeroed. The weight of the object being weighed must not exceed the rated range. Vehicles should travel at a speed below 5 km/h when entering the scale, driving in a straight line and stopping in the center of the platform. Sudden braking and prolonged stopping on the scale are strictly prohibited.

Environmental Safety Requirements: Disconnect the power supply and stop use during thunderstorms. Welding is prohibited near the scale platform. If welding is necessary, disconnect the instrument from the junction box to avoid damaging the sensors.

Daily Maintenance Points

Scale Body Maintenance: Regularly clean debris from the surface and bottom of the scale platform, maintaining a stable limit clearance of approximately 5 mm. Apply grease to connectors and support heads every six months. Check the drainage system and grounding wire to prevent water accumulation and corrosion.

Instrument Maintenance: Use a purified and regulated power supply. Maintain an ambient temperature between 10℃ and 45℃ and humidity below 90%. Before restarting after a long period of inactivity, power on and check the instrument. If a malfunction occurs, disconnect the power and have it repaired by a professional. Do not disassemble the instrument yourself.
