High Temperature Electronic Crane Scale

Foundries are extremely hot working environments. Temperatures near casting areas often exceed 50°C, and heat radiation from molten metal can create additional stress on equipment. A standard crane scale may not perform reliably under these conditions.

The strain gauge inside a normal sensor can expand when exposed to high temperatures, causing zero-point drift and inaccurate readings over time. Our High Temperature Electronic Crane Scale is specially designed to handle these demanding conditions.

We add a heat insulation layer between the sensor and the hook to reduce heat transfer. We also install an external heat shield around the scale body to block direct heat radiation. These features help maintain a safer operating temperature for the sensor and improve weighing stability.

This model has a maximum capacity of 5000kg (5 tons), making it suitable for most daily weighing operations in foundries. The minimum weighing capacity is 40kg, and the division value is 2kg. The accuracy class is Class III, meeting common industrial weighing requirements.

The scale features a safety overload capacity of 125% FS and an ultimate overload capacity of 400% FS. These safety margins help protect the equipment during unexpected overload conditions.

The response time is less than 8 seconds, and the display updates five times per second. We use a high-brightness LED display that remains clear even under strong outdoor lighting conditions.

The High Temperature Electronic Crane Scale is supplied with a standard infrared remote control, allowing operators to control the scale safely from a distance.

Each unit includes an infrared remote control with an operating distance of up to 20 meters. Operators can stand in a safer area without approaching hot loads during weighing operations.

The remote control supports several functions, including zero setting, tare, weight lock, and peak hold. The battery system includes a low-voltage alarm and automatic shut-off protection to prevent excessive discharge.

High temperatures can reduce battery service life. For continuous operation, we recommend keeping a spare battery available so operators can replace it during working hours when necessary. Spare batteries are readily available and provide a simple way to reduce downtime.
